As a full-service communications marketing firm, Edelman is committed to staying ahead of the continually evolving media and communications landscape, and to creating work that has a societal and emotional impact. So it was a natural fit for Edelman to partner with FoST to create a tech tasting for both its employees and some of it most important clients that took place in Edelman’s stunning penthouse space in New York.
For Edelman’s employees, we curated a lunchtime tech tasting featuring 10 projects that are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in film, gaming, documentary, literature, music, and other disciplines. They had the opportunity to try out technologies like virtual, augmented, and mixed reality, facial recognition, and haptics, and to experience what it’s like to walk in space, “smell” a piece of music, and even engage in a conversation with a Holocaust survivor.
For Edelman’s clients, we produced an evening event that augmented the tech tasting with talks by three of the projects’ contributors. They spoke about their work and shared some of their thoughts on multisensory, interactive storytelling. Rounding out the night, the group Freestyle Love Supreme (founded by Hamilton star and creator Lin-Manuel Miranda), treated guests to their unique brand of participatory improv rap.
