Biography
Michael Ventura is an accomplished entrepreneur and creative director. In 2005, he founded Sub Rosa, a multidisciplinary studio that provides strategic, design, and implementation solutions. Sub Rosa's clients include a variety of Fortune 500 companies, as well as some of the world's most progressive startups. As CEO, Ventura is responsible for setting and cultivating the organization’s vision, culture, and growth.

A dynamic writer and lecturer, Ventura is frequently engaged as an advisor to entrepreneurs and leaders of some of the largest corporations across the globe. He is also an adjunct professor at Princeton University, where he teaches design thinking and how to integrate empathy into the creative process. Outside of this work, Ventura and his wife, Caroline, cofounded the New York–based retail experience Calliope, as well as its adjoining gallery, And&And.

Applied Empathy

This workshop will explore how to utilize empathy to improve design thinking and solution building. The program will include a brief exploration into Sub Rosa's philosophy on empathy and will be followed by an interactive program designed to help you connect more fully to your empathic abilities.
