In this workshop, you’ll explore how people interpret and experience stories told in built environments. Understanding the neurological and social science underpinnings of our threat response allows us to physically build stories that take advantage of those drivers to engage an audience toward action. If you’ve ever stepped into a well-crafted experience, you’ll recognize these drivers—but have likely never consciously considered their impact on telling a story (or selling an idea)?
FoST University has bequeathed you, their distinguished alumni, an exhibition space. Their ask? Translate the Human Communication Model and Theme Park Framework into a conceptual design in order to build the “Story of You.” The exhibition will be open for the general public to experience the pivotal moments and themes of your life in this physical space.
