John Hanke is the CEO of Niantic Inc., the company responsible for the creation of massively popular works like Pokemon GO and Ingress. He was also a founding creator of the revolutionary "Google Earth" technology.

John Hanke is the founder and CEO of Niantic, Inc. which builds mobile experiences that foster fun, exploration, discovery and social interaction in the real world. Niantic's top creations include popular games: Pokémon GO and Ingress. John has had an exciting career in the fields of tech and gaming. He started his first company while earning his MBA at UC Berkeley. Since then, John has led teams on some of the biggest technological projects. He was a founding member of Keyhole, which launched the first ever online 3D globe. After being acquired by Google, Keyhole relaunched as “Google Earth”. John eventually became the VP of the Geo Group at Google, which launched a number of innovative projects.
