Performing Your Life

This workshop is for anyone who wants to learn how to transform his or her life experiences into engaging true stories—because tragedy plus time can be very funny, and the ability to hold an audience’s attention can be very useful in any field. To begin, we’ll discuss some principles of first-person storytelling. Then each attendee will outline a thee-to-five-minute story. Finally, we’ll have a story slam and crown the first-ever FoST Slam Champion.
